Our Story

In March 2021, three longtime friends who shared an unapologetic love of cars, horsepower and hands-on chaos came together to launch RealSpeed & Co. Their friendship had roots in weekend wrench-sessions, street-meets and dreaming of what-ifs — long before any camera ever pointed their way.

They named the channel RealSpeed & Co because it signalled everything they loved: real, no gloss; speed, in the sense of quick machines, big changes and rapid evolution; and & Co, a nod to the fact that while the core trio were front-and-centre, others (friends, garages, collaborators) were always part of the story.

The first uploads were rough, raw, full of muffler-clamps and failing welds, but that was intentional. They wanted viewers to see the real world of modifying cars: the sweat, the mis-turns, the late night hunts for parts, and the adrenaline when things “worked”. Their Channel “About” section pinned it down as: “Welcome to my life! Based on 3 idiot friends trying to work on cars …” youtube.com

Over time, RealSpeed & Co evolved from backyard builds to full-garage projects, moving from simple bolt-ons to frame-up overhauls, and gathering a community of like-minded gearheads. But the core stayed the same: three friends, a camera, cars, and a “let’s-see-what-happens” attitude.

Their tagline might’ve been unpolished, but it captured their authenticity and the vibe: chaotic, enthusiastic, flawed—and fun.

Hester produces fresh, organic produce from local farmers in New York. Even our spices are fresh. Just because pickling is a preservation process doesn’t mean you can use dried-up thyme or week-old asparagus that’s already a little spongy.

We want to give our customers crisp, crunchy and delicious pickled vegetables and fruits. Most of all, we want to expand people’s palates and prove that pickles don’t always come in a green or red variety.
